Vasuma Alley Sessions takes place in our quiet alley in Gamla Stan. Secret live performances recorded in an intimate, bare-bones setting, where invited guests experience the artists up close.
Music has always been at the core of Vasuma. Long before eyewear became our craft, music shaped our identity, our taste, and the way we relate to culture. Vasuma Alley Sessions is a natural extension of that connection. A way to give something back to the artists who inspire us and to create a space where music can exist in its most honest form.
Music as Culture, Not Background
For Vasuma, music has never been decoration or background noise. It has always been a cultural force. A language that shapes style, attitude, and belonging. From underground scenes to independent artists, music has played a central role in the subcultures that continue to influence how we see the world.
These scenes are built on individuality rather than trends. On expression rather than approval. That same mindset has guided Vasuma from the beginning: a belief in personal style, strong identity, and doing things your own way.

Artists as Ambassadors
Artists have always been among Vasuma’s most natural ambassadors. Not because they follow fashion, but because they define it for themselves. Musicians, creators, and cultural voices often shape how style is worn long before it reaches the mainstream.
The artists invited to Vasuma Alley Sessions represent this way of thinking. Independent, self assured, and unapologetically personal. They reflect what we believe defines a Vasuma wearer: someone confident in their expression, comfortable in their individuality, and grounded in who they are.
Alley Sessions will feature artists across a wide spectrum of genres and musical expressions. Just like Vasuma, the format is not built around limitation but around inclusion. Different voices, different sounds, and different perspectives are all part of what keeps music culture alive.
A Space for Music to Lead
Vasuma Alley Sessions is a secret live format hosted inside our store at Kåkbrinken 10, tucked away in a quiet alley in the heart of Gamla Stan, Stockholm. Each performance is invitation only, with around 10 carefully selected guests in the room. The format is intentionally small to create presence, focus, and closeness between artist and audience.
The setting is simple and lived in, with subtle marble details and a calm, relaxed atmosphere. More living space than stage.
Each session is recorded with video and high quality audio. The sound is captured on site by Stockholm based engineer Frans Hägglund, who also mixes and masters every session afterwards, ensuring the recordings stay true to the performance while preserving the intimacy of the room.
The performances are later edited and released as complete live sessions on Vasuma’s YouTube channel.
The sessions will take place a few times each year to begin with, growing and evolving naturally over time as the concept develops.
In the end, Vasuma Alley Sessions is a bare-bones live session. Close, honest, and unfiltered. A space where music is allowed to exist exactly as it is.
