Kakan Hermansson Vasuma
Born from a playful collaboration with Kakan Hermansson, the Wave Eyewear Stand emerges as a functional, characterful object. Each piece is handmade by Kakan in Stockholm, limited to 10 per color and size.
Vasuma collaborates with ceramic artist Kakan Hermansson to explore how craft can reshape everyday habits. Together we developed the Wave Eyewear Stand, a sculptural object born from shared curiosity and material play, merging Vasuma’s eyewear world with Kakan’s expressive clay work in a distinctly personal design.

Two worlds collide
Working with Vasuma, Kakan brings her ceramic universe into the world of eyewear. The meeting point is both unexpected and natural, shaped by a shared curiosity for form and function.
“I also love the contrast. Eyewear is generally so rigid, so it feels exciting to create something that lifts it, but also something that actually helps you keep track of your glasses.”
Her approach blends intuition with material exploration, finding beauty in the balance between the controlled and the unpredictable. The Wave Eyewear Stand becomes the place where those two worlds meet.
